In July 2015, I was travelling with another PhD student from the same research group to Debrecen, Hungary, to attend my first ever conference. It was the 5th Central European Workshop of Myrmecology (CEWM). Patrizia d’Ettorre and David Nash were the plenary speakers and gave great talks. I had a great time!
